经过Unit 4的学习,学生应该加深了对此话题的理解。

在复习话题的过程中,同时再次复习了有关personality的形容词。本单元的主题还是相当好的,经过本单元的谈论、交流,应该是较好地对学生进行了一次情感教育和生活教育。由于本单元语言知识点比较简单,所以本单元的作业本学生完成得都较好。但是学生就此话题的表达方面仍然是重点和难点,怎样恰当地规范地得体地给予一些建议是学生应该要加强规范练习的重点。

由于本单元学习虚拟语气,也导致一部分学生混淆了以前所掌握的if条件状语从句,所以一定要让学生清楚明白一个语言知识点,千万不能混淆起来,否则越学情况越麻烦!

本堂课的不足之处:1.本节英语课上我的讲解基本上还拘泥于教材的信息,而开放型的、能激发学生想象力与创造力和发散学生思维的课堂比例还较小,教学反思《Unit4 教学反思》。

2.课堂节奏过慢,前面做对话的时间太长,没能合理的安排时间,从而导致学生开放性的口头表达时间不够。

针对以上不足之处,我觉得今后在教学中应从以下几方面来提高:

首先,我们备课不仅仅要备教材,还要备学生。要根据学生英语基础的实际情况,设计一些开放性的资料来提高课堂教学质量。当然这些我们自己设计的教学素材不能脱离教材本身。

其次,英语课堂上我们应及时有效获取学情反馈,有效地进行课前回顾,课堂小结等环节的落实。为有效地提高英语课堂教学效益,我们还可以制定科学的、操作性强的、激励性的.英语学习效果评价制度,以便在课堂教学过程中做出针对性的调整。

从本堂课这三点收获中,我觉得现在的英语教学要以学生为主体,教师为引导。多鼓励差生开口说英语,并能及时地表扬他们。教师要有课堂效益意识。教学效益首先体现在课堂教学信息量、教学活动的广度和密度以及媒体的使用上。有效的媒体手段有助于课堂容量、密度和速度的提高。尤其是在英语课堂上适当地使用多媒体手段,不但可以活跃课堂,更能提高学生的参与面,短、频、快的大容量课堂节奏能有效的吸引并集中学生的学习注意,从而最终提高学习的听课效益;其次,课堂效益意识还体现在教学的设计中要充分为学而教,以学生如何有效获取知识,提高能力的标准来设计教学。课堂设计要有助于学生在课堂上积极参与,有助于他们有效内化知识与信息,复习过程中要重视学习方法的指导,在教学中恰当地渗透中考的信息,拓宽教学内容:

Now I’d like to analyze my teaching from the following aspects:

Ⅰ Preparation and teaching process

During my preparation, I prepared a lot of pictures to realize the revision and teaching of the new words. I found that they were quite attractive when students saw them during the teaching. To some extent, the use of the pictures of some famous stars could cultivate students’ interest to use the adjectives to describe their appearance, personality and etc. When I had to teach the related words about the face, for example, round and square, I presented some cartoons for comparison. As far as the adjectives of eyes and nose were concerned, I also used some flashcards for presentation and comparison.

Ⅱ Students’ learning process

In this English class, all of the students were very hard-working. It seemed that they had grasped all the knowledge effectively in this period. However, I found some problems when they stood up to give me answers. At that time, I felt nervous about my teaching effect. “Was my teaching method unsuitable for them?”, I said to myself, but I had no time to think. I tried to speak more slowly and clearly, giving them more time to think and speak. It really worked. The students and I cooperated well during the following steps. In my teaching process, I felt it a pity that I didn’t give the students time to present their papers and correct their mistakes, which I thought I should keep in mind for future teaching. After the class, our instructor gave me some advice, which was quite acceptable and suitable to me.

Ⅲ The organization of the class

In terms of my organization of the class, there were seven steps in detail. They were warm-up, revision, presentation, practice, conclusion, discussion and writing. But I was not satisfied with the writing part, .Although students had time to write their compositions, they didn’t have the opportunities to know how well they had written. They should get some comments on their composition, for instance, grammar, sentence structure, hand-writing and so on. If I had five more minutes, I would present their papers to the whole class and gave some corrections if necessary. The last part was enjoying a poem, which was related to the theme of the class. Because of the limited time, I didn’t realize the teaching aim of this part. I just called them to read it. If I removed this part, I thought it would be better for the writing exercise.

All in all, on one hand, this was a comparatively successful class. On the other hand, I found some unsatisfactory elements in my teaching. I think it would be better for me to improve the teaching procedure for future use. In addition, the classed should be practical and adhere to the students’ ability. I learned a lot from my experience and my instructor’s guide. In order to realize the new concept of teaching, I think I need to do more research on the textbook and learn more from the others.

英文《ai eiui》教学反思

这是孩子们第一次接触复韵母,所以上课开始先请出单韵母ao e i u ü这6个老朋友,让学生说说这是什么音,发音时要注意什么,然后引出复韵母,简单讲解复韵母的含义,让学生对复韵母有个初步的了解。

在教学三个复韵母ai,ei,ui时,先看图说图意,再找个读音差不多的字来引入的,比如:ai从姐弟比高矮来引出,随后让学生体会a—ai读音有什么不同,师总结ai的发音方法,指名正音,教学反思《ai ei ui》教学反思》。接着再用各种方法让学生读,加以巩固。随后,我出示了ei和ui,在这一教学环节中,让学生一边看图一边参照ai的发音方法,让学生找出发音规律,这样既提高了学生的学习积极性,又让孩子们掌握了复韵母的发音方法。

在教学ai ei ui的四声,重点先讲解ai的四声。出示aiei ui,问:三个复韵母都是由单韵母组成的`,那么声调应该标在谁的头上?重点教了ai的四声,并讲了标调规则:有a别放过,没a找oe,iu并排标在后,i上标调点去掉。让学生记忆儿歌并说说是什么意思。再用各种方法让学生读,加以巩固。在重点讲解ai的四声后,eiui的四声就放给学生自主学习,让学生当小老师教给大家,学生的学习积极性特别高,平时回答问题声音小的学生,今天声音特别洪亮。课堂气氛特别活跃。

整个课时安排学生ai eiui的发音、四声及书写,在教学aiei ui的四声时,可以把四声的顺序打乱,进行抽读卡片,还可以在语境中学习读音,这样对四声的巩固可能会更好,特别是对拼读打下了扎实的基础。可惜为了多让几个学生巩固aiei ui读音(第一次出现复韵母,印象会比较深刻),所以写字时间没有把握好。

2、平时注重解题技巧的养成

1)准备工作 ①.仔细审题,明确要求 ②.紧扣要点,寻求思路。

2)写作之中 ①.开门见山,紧扣主题。②.语言正确,规范地道。尽量使用学过的、最熟悉也最有把握的句型、结构,应尽量避免中国式英语。要养成正确运用标点符号的好习惯,切忌一点到底的错误方法。③.重短轻长, 就易避难。④.过渡自然,表达流畅。注意前后句、上下文尽量过渡自然,正确使用and, or, but, because, so, then, after等词,保持行文的流畅。不重复使用可置换的词,如描述“我的梦中小屋”时,可以用firstly, secondly, then, after that等表示先后的序列词。

3)成文之后鼓励学生学会批改自己的习作。

1)一般语法项目的检查——英语中的人称、时态、单复数、习惯用法等都是非常重要的,即使在朗读中好像全理解,但在动笔的实践中就往往出错。如我们这篇作文多用一般现在时,第一人称。

2)注意语序——英语中的疑问句、感叹句和宾语从句都是通过语序的变化来构成和体现的,不注意会出现错误和意义上混淆。本篇作文要注意感叹句的语序。

3)书写规范,卷面整洁。卷面不整洁,使人无法看清你写的究竟是什么,那么就可能按错处理。所以在写时,我让学生一定要先打草稿。

这节课是高三的写作课,xxx巧妙地向学生引出如何把两个简单句用连接词连在一起,使句子变得更加漂亮。讲练过程中自然地复习了以前学过的许多语法知识和许多连接词的用法,对定语从句,分词短语,介词短语等有了更加清晰的认识。通过把两个句子合并成一句,到把几个句子变成一段文章,循序渐进,层层深入。通过对同一个文章的几种不同写法的展示,让学生很自然地了解了英语作文中什么样的句子才能拿高分,学会了怎样把句子加工,润色,使之更加完美。课堂还做了大量的练习,让学生能够举一反三,记忆深刻。最后还教会了学生每段文章都要有主题句,如何寻找主题句,每个主题句都要由句子做支撑,这样不仅对学生的写作有好处,对阅读理解题也有很大帮助。

总体来说,这是一节非常务实的写作课,给我的体会是:课堂要注重“理解-练习-记忆”三步骤。不能流于形式上的“作秀”,应该给予学生以广阔的空间。通过这节课学生真正能掌握一些好的写作方法,这才是高效课堂。

由于高中学生在英语学习方面有了一定的词汇积累、阅读经验以及掌握了一些基本的语法规则,使他们已初步具备了将心中所思转化为英语文字的能力。在这个阶段,教师如果通过影像、音乐、语言等多种手段,在学生的作文训练中大力发展学生思维的变通性和独创性,那么,学生想象力的提高将会成为可能。

一、利用表象,丰富想象

观察图画和实物作文符合英语作文起步阶段需要有一定的情景要求,也符合高中学生有意想象占优势的特点,同时避免了文字情节作文易使学生中译英的缺点,但若每一次训练都是刻板的再现材料,创造想象则难以增长。如果在教学设计时,在图中留有空白,或对实物设置悬念,不仅可以引发学生的好奇心,激发他们对英语作文的兴趣,减轻他们的惧怕心理,而且可以促使学生通过创造性的想象去填补空白,解决悬念。

如Senior BookⅠ,Unit 3 中的“Help! Help!”,可按发展顺序设计几幅救落水儿童的图,但只给学生展示第一、二两幅图,图画的内容大致与课文内容相同,但是后几幅的空白,使学生必须通过创造性的想象才能填补材料的空白。学生可以引用课文中的材料,也可以自由发挥。有学生这样写到:

Last week, we had a picnic in Forest Park. We found a shady place by the river. As soon as we had sat down, Tom suddenly got up and shouted, “Someone has fallen into the river!_ It was true. A boy was struggling in the water, and the children in a boat looked hopeless. Tom and Jack took off their shoes while running to wards the water. They swam very quickly towards the boy who was sinking fast. Tom and Jack got hold of the boy by the arms and lifted his head above the water. Together they pulled the boy to the shore.

之后,再给学生展示其中一幅图,或一句话的情景:……,a man/a woman/a child, etc. has fallen into the river/the lake, etc.……。让学生自由选择自由发挥。有的根据曾在报上看到的新闻,称颂一身怀六甲的妇女勇救落水儿童的事迹,也有的谴责那些对落水者无动于衷的旁观者。学生的作文体裁记叙文、议论文不限。这样,既训练了他们书面的表达能力,又发挥了他们的想象和创造能力、思维表达能力。同时也让他们思索了做人的道理。

二、精选图画,激发想象

处于英语作文起步阶段的学生的想象具有直观性,片面性和模仿性的特点,为其提供的观察材料越具体、越完整、越详实,他们的这些特点往往表现得越明显,有时甚至强化了他们的这些特点。换个方式,为他们提供一些抽象的图画,他们的创造想象反而被激活,因为他们必须在原有的图画上进行创造才可能有新的形象产生。而“抽象画作品所表现的物象与参照物相差甚远,它最大限度地把形与色对视觉作用的潜力发挥出来,直观效果非常强烈。它经过夸张、简化、分解、组合等变化手段,将客观事物的表象创造成为富于想象力。”xxx画家蒙德里安的表达百老汇街道的嘈杂与热闹的《百老汇爵士》(Jazz in Broadway)是一幅看上去比较抽象的图画,学生通过观察、运用合理的想象,写出了内容各异的作品。

有学生这样写到:

It is the downtown of Shanghai. The streets, such as Nanjing Road and Huaihai Road, etc are busy. Cars, buses and trucks with all kinds of advertisements are running. People dressed in their best are walking happily or hurrying to work on their bikes. Beautifully decorated stores are crowded with people shopping. They all look in high spirits. The traffic policemen at the crossings are directing the traffic attentively and seriously. Everything is in good order. Such is our city. I love our city.

而另有学生在他们的作文中认为这是一个“排污系统”(drain outlet system )或电路板(circuit board)或房屋平面图(a plane figure of a house)等等。

可见,由抽象的图画到生动画面的产生,到一篇作文的写作成功,是创造想象不断发展的过程,也是提高英语语言运用能力的过程。

三、借助音乐,拓宽想象

音乐能有效地丰富学生的精神生活,促进学生感知、情感、想象等方面的健康成长,能给学生提供想象和联想的广阔空间,有利于培养学生的发散性思维能力,促进人的全脑开发,为学生的创新精神和实践能力在各方面的延伸乃至终身发展提供良好的基础。因此,在英语写作训练中有时借助音乐等艺术形式,对丰富学生的想象力是一种有益的尝试。

如Senior Book Ⅵ ,Unit 7中的“The Waltz king ”这一课文,根据内容,可设计让学生听一首Beethoven的“命运”(Fate),让学生根据自己的理解,写一篇作文,一位学生这样写到:

I am a graduate from high school, and I will enter for the Collage Entrance Examination. Whether I will be admitted to a collage, I will work harder than before , since our country is still poor and weak.

从作品中我们可以发现,借助音乐,学生的想象力得到了较大幅度的拓展。“音乐艺术对学生的创造能力的发展具有独特的作用。

四、灵活方法,发展想象

“创造想象是严格的构思过程,它是由思维调节的。”想象会产生全新的物象与情景、独特的认识和感悟。一段文字、一篇文章,给不同的读者,就有不同的想象余地。正如:A thousand readers, a thousand Hamlets.(一千个读者,就有一千个xxx特。)在英语作文教学中根据一定的线索或情节,提供学生广阔的思维空间,让学生进行想象描述(创造性的描述),会收到很好的锻炼效果。

例如 “After Twenty Years_ (Senior Book Ⅵ,Unit 5) 这一课,可要求学生在学完之后, 简单续写一个结尾。这是一篇根据O. Henry 同名原作改写的文章。文章的故事情节虽然简单,但很能挖掘、发挥学生的创造想象力。学生这样写到:

As soon as the police officer wanted to catch Bob by the arm, he took out a gun, aimed at the officer and said, “I knew I was wanted, but I don''t want to be arrested anyway. Tell Jim Wells I will come to visit him one day._ Just at that time, the police officer found himself surrounded by some strong men, gun in hand, pointing to him. Bob then walked into the street and got into a car parking there, followed by those strong men. The car soon disappeared.

另有学生这样写到:

The moment the officer caught Bob by the arm, he got rid of it and ran away at once. He was running down the street as fast as he could, when he was shot on the right shoulder. He turned round. To his great surprise, it was Jim Wells, his o ld friend. He fell on the ground and fainted.

在作文教学中,通过对一定的语言材料进行不同方式的处理,确实是锻炼学生的思维,发展学生的想象力的一条重要途径。当学生对当前的语言材料进行阅读、处理时,进行了充分的分析、比较,又充分展示了自己的想象力,其思维得到了充分的发散。

心理学研究已经证实,发散思维对个体的创造性有着重要影响,我们应该根据教材特点,结合教学内容,注意这种思维能力的训练,并创造一些行之有效的教学技术。可以说,续写结尾、续写故事、改写、扩写等,都是高中英语作文教学中锻炼学生思维,发展学生想象力的有效手段。
